MD8m to 2 x MD6 f adapt cable

This P/N 8601, 1 Ft long MD8 to PS/2 Adapter Y cable is designed to convert an MD8 female cable end into 2 x MD6 female cable ends. These MUST be used in pairs, one adapter on each end of the MD8 cable. These are not interface/protocol converters. They merely convert connectors. When used on each end of the MD8 cable they change the use from Sun MD8 keyboard and mouse to PS/2 type keyboard and mouse. The MD6 connectors are marked to show which connector is for the keyboard and which is for the mouse. See P/N 8602 for MD8 male cable end conversion. The MD8 cables must connect all 8 wires.
